Two-stage, smoothbore, 15.5 mm cal barrel of square and round section separated by rings; powder chamber bearing re-gilded Spanish marks (some missing parts), the nozzle slightly bell-mouthed and fitted with a silver foresight. Tang engraved with a shell and floral motifs. Beautiful miquelet lock featuring a plate featuring the date ‘1813’ within a frame. Magnificent wooden full stock, Madrid-style butt, neck and handguard carved, knurled and decorated with silver studs. Break in the stock. Engraved silver mounts, two barrel bands en suite. Original, horn-tipped ramrod.
