Barrel and cartridge rammer with serial numbers matching the frame; barrel wedge also featuring a matching but shortened serial number; .36 cal. at the nozzle. Six-shot cylinder with slightly visible remains of a scene depicting the naval battle between Texas and Mexico; the patent and serial numbers are still legible (all matching the frame). Working mechanism (three snaps, the trigger safety is not working). Frame marked “COLTS PATENT” and serial number “19xxx”. Brass grip bands with remains of silver plating, also featuring matching serial numbers. Small, rounded trigger guard with “G” mark. Pitting, signs of use and time. Smooth grip of walnut wood with a small missing part.
