Smoothbore, round barrels of fine damask (clean bores, with some signs of use inside), provided with signed gilt rib “PRELAT ARQ.ER DU ROI A PARIS”, featuring crowned “NB” marks for Nicolas Boutet on the lower side. The rib is provided with silver foresight, 16 mm cal. at the nozzle. The breech block with traces of old browning, with a raised spark arrester continuing along the sides of the barrels. Tang with remains of browning and engraved floral motifs. Forward spring locks signed in gilt “PRELAT ARQ.ER DU ROI A PARIS”, engraved with fine floral motifs on a browned background with cornucopia. Working mechanisms. Half stock of briarwood with checkered grip (possibly an old repair at the fore-end tip). Iron mounts decorated en suite with remains of browning. Wooden ramrod with brass and iron mounts. In a wooden case (lid damaged) with a Prelat label inside the lid, lined with green cloth, containing various accessories (probably not of the same period) and a key.
