height 30 cm.
Blackened leather skull, with a brass ball-shaped tip at the top (slightly dented) on a cross-shaped base with round brass rivets; front frieze with oak leaves, crossed keys, and papal tiara surrounding the monogram GSP (Guardia Svizzera Pontificia, or Papal Swiss Guard). Armored leather chin-straps with scales, lion's head earbands. Inside, cap missing; leather lining and covering of brim and eaves.
