Large, curved blade with fuller along almost its entire length, featuring on the right side the “Hanseatic cross” of the Alemannic troops surmounting a trophy of drums and flags, on the opposite side marked with the Savoy eagle surmounted by a crown and above the motto “VIVE LE ROI.” One-quillon brass hilt with stirrup guard. Long smooth cap. Handle covered in leather, probably antique, with metal wire binding. Some signs of wear and age, especially on the blade. Without scabbard. Uncommon.
