Rifled, round, 12 mm cal. barrel (bore with pitting, visible rifling), with foresight, club guide for the bayonet, folding and adjustable rear sight, with mark "EM & L NAGANT A LIEGE", papal mark, and various other marks and marks of the Liège test bench, serial number "40xx". Frame featuring a rotating block bolt with marks and serial numbers matching the barrel, as well as "BREVET REMINGTON 3157". Working mechanism. Wooden butt stock and fore-end, clearly visible on the right side of the butt stock is the stamp "CATHOLIQUES BELGES" with the date "1868". Iron mounts and ramrod. Complete with yatagan bayonet with iron scabbard.
