Smoothbore, three-stage, 15 mm cal. barrels; octagonal, sixteen-faceted and round, with smooth moulding at the junction between the second and third stage; the breech stamped with a fine crowned “AD” mark (not clearly visible on one barrel). Smooth tangs. Fine Roman-style flintlocks with lockplates engraved with floral scrolls, the jaws, cock base, pan, batterie and springs all carved en suite with the plates; inside with cursive capital signature “G. R.”. Elegant full stocks of briarwood (signs of time and use) with smooth brass mounts; large faceted butt-plates with pyramidal ends. Missing ramrods.
