Blade: Shobu Zukuri; nagasa (41 cm); hamon: Nagare Itame; hada: Itame Masame; on the Ura side, double hi and a small kizu; on the Omote side, a short bo-hi. Beautiful engraved silver habaki. Well-finished nakago with deep Yasuri in Sujikai reminiscent of rain, two mekugi-ana. Koshirae with same, iron fuchi-kashira, silver menuki depicting the Oda Nobunaga mon. Beautiful lobster-red lacquer saya (lacquer with missing parts) with coils and Oda Nobunaga mon with honeycomb pattern, iron koiguchi and kojiri. Large ko-gatana with iron kozuka decorated with a mantis and foliage in gold, copper, silver and shakudo in bas-relief, with inome; blade with visible hamon and long mei. Rare.
