Blade (length 53 cm) with brass habaki; hilt, tsuba and saya entirely made of carved bone sections, finely worked in high and low relief with countless samurai figures depicted in various scenes of daily life and in different settings. The decoration is interspersed with cartouches featuring floral and geometric motifs. The pommel of the hilt is carved as a dragon's head, while the chape of the saya is shaped as the dragon's tail, forming a refined and coherent iconographic design. With two suspension rings. A fine and high-quality work of art.
