The document, dated 1813, bears the signature of Ulster King of Arms Sir William Betham, recording the grant of arms to the Hutchinson-Synge family. Attached to the document is a single pendant seal in a protective skippet, suspended from a blue ribbon. In a wooden case covered in red Morocco leather, with gold inlays and the monogram “GR” (King George).
