Curved, flat-section, single-and short false-edged blade, engraved with the motto “Viva l’Unione” amid trophies and floral motifs. Non-regulation or prototype brass hilt, , bearing a Savoy coat of arms made of silvered metal on the front valve; smooth parry-quillon, model without inner ring; angled pommel; large octagonal tang button of seal form. Grip covered in silver sheet imitating wire binding. Black-lacquered iron scabbard (refreshed) with light central pitting, and brass mounts with two suspension rings.
