length 109.5 cm.
Straight single-and false-edged blade, featuring double fullers and a ricasso; the back edge marked Zlatoust and dated 1859. Typical brass hilt with four loop guards, two of them bearing the inscription “For Bravery” in Cyrillic script; the base marked “P. FOKIN” and struck with the St. Petersburg proofmark. In the pommel is the Order of St. Anna, whereas the short cap bearing a monogram beneath a crown. Wooden grip covered in leather, with brass wire binding. Iron scabbard with two suspension rings.
