Straight blade of lenticular section, the base signed “ANDREA” on one face and “FARARA” on the other, each set among four deeply marked human heads. Square ricasso with outlined edges. Iron hilt with two-piece shell guard: larger front plate decorated with radiating motifs in low relief; smooth back with raised edge. S-shaped quillons with small arches screwed to the valves; the end of the knuckle-guard en suite with the quillons. Spherical pommel. Wooden grip with iron wire binding. Velves covered with leather. Wooden scabbard covered in leather (modern restoration) with earlier iron mounts; locket with a belt hook.
