Brass mounts with traces of gilding, engraved with Tomoe-mon motifs surrounded by sinuous foliage. Inside covered in glossy black lacquer. Green silk closure cords with tassels. Preserved in their original cases, featuring inscriptions dating back to the early Meiji period and an ancient paper document. Used to transport food. Some signs of use and time. Period: Late Edo period / Early Meiji period. Height of transport cases: 51 cm.
