Rifled(clean bore, clearly visible rifling ), octagonal, browned, 15 mm cal with gilt borders and decorations at both ends; at the base a steel finish with a crowned monogram “F” or “FF” among floral motifs, followed by the gold-inlaid signature “Pirko in Wien” within a cartouche; rear sight with one fixed and one folding leaf, front sight. Engraved iron tang with folding diopter. Forward-spring lock with flat lockplate, signed “C. PIRKO” and foliate-engraved; two-stage mechanism, in working order. Half stock with chequered wrist and low-relief floral carving at the fore-end tip and on the left cheek. Iron mounts, decorated en suite. Wood-sculpted trigger guard; wooden pommel under the butt. Iron ramrod.
