John Landis, an American director known for his versatility and unique touch, left an indelible mark on the cinematic landscape with films such as "Animal House," "The Blues Brothers," and "An American Werewolf in London." The latter, in particular, is considered a true cult classic, masterfully blending horror and comedy. Released in 1981, "An American Werewolf in London" tells the story of two American friends traveling in England who are attacked by a werewolf. One of them survives and, upon returning to London, begins to transform into a werewolf himself. The film stands out for its innovative use of special effects, masterminded by Rick Baker, who won an Oscar for the protagonist's extraordinary transformation.
