Released in 1981, "An American Werewolf in London" tells the story of two American friends traveling in England who are attacked by a werewolf. One of them survives and, upon returning to London, begins to transform into a werewolf himself. The film stands out for its innovative use of special effects, masterminded by Rick Baker, who won an Oscar for the protagonist's extraordinary transformation.
