Information
Two red Everlast boxing gloves, one signed by Jake LaMotta with a Steiner Sports authentication stamp. The gloves are housed in an elegant display case. Jake LaMotta was an American professional boxer, best known for his nickname "The Raging Bull" and his rivalry with Sugar Ray Robinson. LaMotta became the world middleweight champion in the 1940s and fought some of the best boxers of his era. His career was marked by impressive victories, but also by defeats and controversies. His life has been the subject of many interpretations, including the famous 1980 film "Raging Bull," directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Robert De Niro, who won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of LaMotta.
