Pelé won his first World Cup with the Brazilian national team in 1958 at the age of 17, becoming the youngest player ever to score in a World Cup final. He went on to win two more World Cups with Brazil in 1962 and 1970, becoming the only player to achieve this feat. Throughout his career, Pelé scored over 1,000 goals in professional competition and earned numerous accolades, including FIFA Player of the Century in 1999. He spent most of his career playing for Santos FC before joining the New York Cosmos of the North American Soccer League (NASL) in the 1970s.
