Information

Hulk Hogan autographed card, produced and certified by Leaf in 2022, limited edition of 5/25. Hulk Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, was one of the most iconic and influential figures in wrestling history. With his signature bandana, handlebar mustache, and imposing physique, Hogan was the face of "Hulkamania," a cultural phenomenon that made wrestling a mainstream sport in the 1980s. As the "Real American," Hogan embodied the hero fighting for good, inspiring millions of fans with his motto, "Whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you?" His muscular poses and overwhelming charisma made him an icon beloved by an entire generation. His epic matches, such as the one against André the Giant at WrestleMania III, are considered legendary, era-defining moments. In the 1990s, Hogan demonstrated his versatility with a dramatic turnaround, becoming the leader of the New World Order (nWo). In this new villain persona, he once again revolutionized wrestling, introducing more complex and mature storylines that captured the attention of a wider audience. Hulk Hogan's impact extends far beyond the ring; he was a pioneer who helped transform the sport into a global entertainment spectacle, leaving a lasting legacy that continues to influence the world of wrestling today. He passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 71, from cardiac arrest.
