Thomas Hassler is a former German footballer, known for his talent as a midfielder. He was a key member of the German national team that won the 1990 FIFA World Cup. At club level, he played for teams such as FC Koln, Juventus, Karlsruher SC and SV Hamburg. Hassler was known for his technical ability and accuracy in set pieces. After retiring from playing, he pursued a career as a coach.
