Luka Modrić is a Croatian footballer born on 9 September 1985 in Zadar, Croatia. He is known as one of the best midfielders in the world and has made a significant impact at both club and national team level.

Modrić began his professional career with Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia, before moving to Tottenham Hotspur in England in 2008. His ability to control the ball, pass and vision of the game attracted the attention of top-flight clubs. In 2012, he joined Real Madrid in Spain, becoming a key part of the club's midfield.
