Supercar (Knight Rider) is an American television series produced between 1982 and 1986 starring David Hasselhoff. The protagonist is Michael Knight (played by David Hasselhoff) who together with KITT, an indestructible and fully automated car controlled by artificial intelligence (which allows it, among other things, to speak), fights against various criminals in the American province . The show has remained a cult series for many fans, so much so that even today it is continuously rerun on various television stations. All KITT cars (based on a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am) used in the series were scrapped, per an agreement Universal had made with Pontiac. However, official replicas commissioned by Universal were made by George Barris and Jay Ohrberg. Two were sold to David Hasselhoff and one of these is now on display in the Keswick Cars of the Stars museum in England.
