Andrea Barzagli (Fiesole, 8 May 1981) is a former Italian footballer, who played as a defender. In his career he won a Bundesliga championship with Wolfsburg (2008-09) and eight consecutive Serie A championships with Juventus (from 2011-12 to 2018-19), the latter club with which he also won a record four consecutive Italian Cups (from 2014-15 to 2017-18) and four League Super Cups (2012, 2013, 2015 and 2018), also playing two UEFA Champions League finals (2015 and 2017); in the minor categories he boasts victories in a Serie C1 championship (2001-02) and a Serie C Super Cup (2002) with Ascoli as well as a National Amateur Championship (1998-99) with Rondinella Impruneta. With the Italian national team he was world champion in Germany 2006, finalist in the European Championship in Poland-Ukraine 2012 and third place in the Confederations Cup in Brazil 2013; he also took part in the World Cup in Brazil 2014 and the European Championships in Austria-Switzerland 2008 and France 2016.
