Paolo Maldini's autographed card featuring an AC Milan jersey from the 2019/2020 Panini Chronicles series. Paolo Maldini (born in Milan in 1968) is one of the greatest icons in AC Milan's history. He dedicated his entire playing career to the Rossoneri club, a 25-year adventure from 1984 to 2009. His Serie A debut came on January 20, 1985, at just 16 years old. As a left-back, and later as a central defender, he set the record for appearances for AC Milan (902 official matches) and inherited the captain's armband from Franco Baresi in 1997. With AC Milan, Maldini won an impressive list of trophies, including: 7 Italian Championships (Scudetti); 5 European Cups/UEFA Champions Leagues; 5 European Super Cups; and 2 Intercontinental Cups.
