Shall we talk about Tazio Secchiaroli? From the electric dynamism that in the Cinecittà of the 1960s characterised his work as a 'paparazzo' (by the way, he seems to have been the one who suggested this amusing appellation to Federico Fellini, who turned it into his surname), he moved with great personal consistency to the more rigorous work of portraitist and set photographer. Here we see him documenting some typical atmospheres of the film world and pausing in a beautiful portrait of Sophia Loren to whom he was bound by a strong friendship and for whom he was the official photographer for many years.
