Provenance

Model
The Abarth Zerocento is the second of the special versions created by Abarth brand and, until today, it is the one built-in fewer examples with only 100 Zerocento cars produced. The car was born in 2009 to celebrate the centenary of the birth of the company founder Karl Abarth, the racing driver-designer who died in 1979. All the Zerocento are painted in Nuvolari Gray, derived from Maserati, and present some aesthetic differences compared to the standard version: the Abarth stripe on the sides and friezes on the side uprights. From the technical point of view, the peculiarity that makes it very fun to drive is the muffler, a component that always made the Abarth famous; the system adopted in the Zerocento has a counter-pressure exhaust system with four output terminals that give to this small sporting car a powerful sound. The engine is the classic 1.4 Turbo of the standard 500 Abarth, developed with IHI RHF3 turbocharger and BMC specific air filter; the small propeller reaches 160 hp of maximum power at 5,750 rpm with a maximum torque of 230 Nm at 3000 rpm. This tune-up allows the Zerocento incredible performance for such a compact car, with 211 km/h top speed, a quick 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.3 seconds and 40-100 km/h in fourth gear in 8.5 seconds. From the chassis point of view have been adopted: new springs, the ventilated discs and the front brake calipers are equipped with high-performance pads. The wheels are 17-inch alloy adorned with chrome hubcap cups with the famous Scorpion logo in relief. The interiors have an exquisite combination with two-tone leather upholstery in natural and black, with contrasting silver stitching and some aluminum details such as the gear knob, the custom sill plate and the specific nameplate with numbering. To prevent the placing on the market of non-original copies of the car, all the 100 examples of Zerocento are registered, as a first owner, to the company, Abarth spa.
The car
The Abarth Zerocento chassis no. ZFA3120000275531is the 36th of 100 cars built and is like brand-new, with very few kilometers traveled: only 690 km on the odometer. The car is at the second owner, being the 1st, as told before, the parent company. The world of collectors today is focused on vehicles produced in limited series, and the Zerocento is the perfect example of a collector's car. The small size makes it ideal for those who love sports car, have little garage space or have to commute in the downtown traffic and are looking for a particular collector's car. Perfect as a second or third car, easy to park and at the same time fast and fun to drive. Unlike other compact cars, the Zerocento has an exquisite leather interior with aluminum components as standard. Agile and light, at the wheel, the Zerocento is appreciated for its typical Abarth qualities and, thanks to the sound of the specific exhaust, every bend and every acceleration it’s a true pleasure.
State of art
Preserved, as brand-new.
