The icon of the “Twelve Feasts” is arranged in separate panels surrounding the central dominant scene of the Resurrection of Christ and the Descent into Hades. The first four-part icon shows the Crucifixion in the center, with four surrounding panels depicting Christ Pantocrator, the Mother of God of Kazan, the Virgin of Tenderness, and an archangel with Saint Helena; the second depicts the Mother of God Hodegetria, the Mother of God of the Three Hands, Saint Clement of Ohrid, and Saint Theodore Stratelates.
