Original comic art made by Pratt for "Ticonderoga", published by Editorial Frontera in 1957. In this story set in 18th century North America, during the battles between the French and the English for the conquest of the territories of the Great Lakes, the protagonists are three young people: the cadet of His Britannic Majesty Caleb Lee, the crafty Joe Flint, known as Ticonderoga, and the Native American Numockh. The backdrops of the adventure are made up of woods, forests and a wild and uncontaminated nature where Indian moccasins move silently in contrast to the noisy movements of the soldiers from Europe. In this work, Pratt uses the half-tone technique, almost to make the symbiosis of man with nature more compelling and fascinating, broken here by a war that will lead, shortly thereafter, to the birth of a nation. Small tear on the right margin. Text by Héctor G. Oesterheld.
