Specialist Notes
The memoirs are preceded by a dedication to an unspecified Prince and another dedication to the reader, the first dated December 6, 1684. The work ends with chapter VI of book III, and is divided into three books. It is a rare and perhaps unpublished work. A similar manuscript is known, preserved in the Archbishop's Library of Benevento: Historical Memoirs on the Royal Crown Used by the Most Serene Princes of Longobard Benevento , manuscript [Benevento 1719], described in Scritture di Storia Benevento, Benevento, Archbishop's Library F.
