Naples, paid for by Raffaello Gessari at the Domenico Vivenzio printing house, 1748-1750. In 4°. 6 vols. Portrait of the author in the first volume, plates with genealogical trees and portraits of kings, other plates with the history of Conradin of Swabia, marginal foxing, otherwise an excellent copy, contemporary full parchment binding. Signed "De Sanctis" on the title page. The sixth volume also includes the following works: The Antiquities of Pozzuolo, and Nearby Places, by Signor Ferrante Loffredo, Marchese di Trevico, and His Majesty's Council of War. With descriptions of the baths of Agnano, Pozzuolo, and Tripergole, transcribed from the very ancient text of the most generous Miss Iohanne Villano, rescued from the jaws of time by Signor Pompeo Sarnelli.
