Naples, Stamperia Simoniana, 1767. In 8°. Vignette engraved in red ink on the title page, beautiful copperplate header with a view of Vesuvius and on the verso of the last leaf a vignette depicting a lava rock, with 3 leaves of copperplate plates at the end of the volume, minor defects, slight foxing, contemporary soft cardboard binding partially detached from the body of the book. Stamp with 4 figures on the title page. § Della Torre, Ascanio. Report before the eruption of Vesuvius from 11 August to 18 September 1804. sl, se, 1804. In 8°. The original decorated cardboard binding is preserved, within a Varese paper binding, paper insert in the center of the front cover with a framed title, minor defects. Handwritten note on the title page and on the front cover of the original paperback.
