Specialist Notes
An extremely rare first edition of this iconographic work, exceptionally valuable for the finesse of the engravings and its excellent state of preservation, dedicated to the rulers of the Kingdom of Naples. The exact attribution of the work is still a matter of debate, with some attributing it to Errico Bacco. The printer's stamp of Dominicus Custos, Raphael's father, appears at the end.
