Obverse: Oblong polygonal coat of arms with raised triangles, two festoons descending at the sides, foliage above and below, surmounted by a tiara and crossed keys with a twisted cord and bow; Reverse: The Holy Door walled up, with a radiant cross, between two columns, two pilasters and two statues: St. Peter to the left and St. Paul to the right; cymatium broken by a semicircular cymatium. At the bottom is the coat of arms of the President of the Mint, Monsignor Giuseppe Renato Imperiali.
