Bronze hilt with 80 % original gilding, the quillon with "S"-shaped quillons with ends shaped as a hound's head to indicate loyalty; pommel shaped as a lion's head to represent strength; long, smooth cap. Wooden grip (small missing parts), with grooved centre. A chain connects the quillon with the pommel.
