Straight, double-edged blade of hexagonal section, the base featuring a central groove with an inscription (on both sides) "NON TI FIDAR DI ME SE IL COR TI MANCA"; very short tang. Typical gilt bronze cup-shaped hilt (some missing spots of gilding), quillon with counter-curved quillons and enlarged heads. Bronze grip with circular and transverse fullers. Spherical, buttoned pommel. Leather scabbard (restoration and small defects) with brass mounts, shield-shaped hook.
