Smoothbore, two-stage, 16 mm cal. barrel of octagonal section at the first part, featuring several marks and inscriptions at the base, in particular "MVNTOFRO" crowned and a mark representing a hound, all gold-inlaid; rings at the girdle, then round. Tang engraved with spirals. Spanish-style lock, flat lock plate, tang engraved with a mask, borders with waves; hammer throw, jaws and pan plate, engraved en suite at the tang. Sculpted wooden full stock (small restorations and defects). Brass mounts fully engraved with geometric and floral motifs; in particular, the butt-plate with a large cross in relief surmounted by a mask. Iron belt hook. Brass-tipped, wooden ramrod.
