length 48.5 cm.
Beautiful, round, smoothbore, 14,2 mm cal. barrel, fully worked with damascus design, the base with series of steps of semi-elliptical shape; a little further a bust facing to the right and framed, all silver-inlaid; then a rib; at the nozzle, silver foresight on a base decorated as a swallow. Flintlock with lock plate signed "I.S. MECKEL A SUERIN". Wooden, full stock (small defects), with carved elements. Silver mounts, counterplate shaped as a sea monster (snake?), the central part with engraved medallion with a bird (probably an eagle) shown twice, on either side of this medallion the numerals "G.C / VS"; the fixing screws of the lock are browned; beautiful butt-plate engraved with a circular theme with series of leaves, in the centre a large mask, well worked and in relief. Horn-tipped wooden ramrod, also its silver bands.
