Bore very dirty, needs cleaning, probably various pitting inside. Six-shot cylinder featuring traces of naval battle engraving, clearlu visible marks of the London test bench. Working mechanism, trigger with working safety lock. Frame marked "COLTS PATENT". High, round trigger guard marked "V". Iron gripstraps. Walnut grip. Matching serial number on barrel (not clearly visible), barrel wedge, cylinder, pin, frame and gripstraps. Slight play between barrel and frame. Slight traces of browning in some areas. Some pitting. Kept in an antique but not pertinent case, lined inside with green cloth, with a flask, disassembly tool, and colt-type bullet molds, as well as a capsule holder.
