7-1/2", octagonal, rifled, 36 cal. barrel, (clean bore, slight pitting inside, visible rifling), with brass foresight, featuring dorsal marking ’ADDRESS COL. COLT LONDON", on the left side, marks of the London test bench. Six-shot cylinder with the marks of the London test bench; the naval battle engraving still visible. Frame with "COLTS PATENT" mark on the left side. Wide, rounded trigger guard, iron grip bands. Walnut grip. Well working mechanism, three snaps, working safety lock at the trigger. Matching serial number "36999" in all the parts, including cartridge rammer, pin and barrel wedge (where abbreviated). The barrel retains remains (approx. 15%) of the probably antique bluing. Good to very good condition. Slight signs of use and time.
