Very heavy, iron helmet, worked in two pieces with the low comb, slightly sloping brim and nape-guard, of the two cheek-pieces only the two hinges remain; the two hemispheres painted in white with the Order of Malta. Iron breast-plate ribbed in the middle with sloping lower margin, neckline and raised gussets, border provided with openwork. In the centre a large Maltese cross in white (small missing parts). On the front side are the two pins for the straps; on the left side in the lower part, further hook (on the opposite side is missing) for the strap. Beautiful and rare ensemble. Provided with stand.
