The so-called "Frog helmet" with skull worked in one piece, inside clearly visible hand-hammering. Nape-guard and visor joined to the skull by large nails, visor ribbed in the middle with long eye-slots and with side flap provided with a clasp, fan-shaped nape-guard with shaped lower margin, provided with two gunsmith's marks. Breast-plate of ovoid shape worked in two pieces with slightly protruding lower margin. Above the rest, a wing. The helmet is fastened to the breast-plate by means of an adjustable central bolt, a leather strap at the back and two pins at the shoulders. The backplate is joined with the breast-plate by a hinge on the left side, a pin on the opposite side and two iron straps.
