Smoothbore, two-stage, 18 mm cal. barrel, octagonal at the first part with frames at the base, Scalafiot mark and Piedmontese mark under crown (both gilded); then of round section after a ring and leaves, concave rib with brass foresight. Tang with broad sight. Flintlocks signed "G. Scalafiot / a Turin" and with outlined borders. Wooden half stock (small missing parts) with checkered palm rest and grip. Gilt silver mounts (marks "BB" within beaded circle). Deer horn-tipped, wooden ramrod with iron cartridge extractors.
