Forward spring locks signed "PURDEY" and finely engraved with floral motifs. Briarwood butt and fore-end with checkered hand support and grip. Iron mounts decorated en suite. Trigger guard with typical Purdey opening barrel. The end of the trigger guard with serial number "84xx", which is also on the barrels and the fore-end.
