Title page in red and black with an attractive typographical device, ornate initials, rare handwritten annotations, wormholes, some light traces of humidity and light browning, 17th-century full hard parchment binding, gilt title on the three-ribbed spine, blue edges, some defects.

Tommaso De Vio (Gaeta, ca. 1469 – Rome, 1534), was a Dominican theologian who played a leading role in the doctrinal debates of the early sixteenth century and in the religious controversies of the Reformation era.
