Copper-engraved frontispiece (small loss in the lower corner), frieze on the title page, a copper-engraved tacola, light browning, more intense on some quires, slight foxing, contemporary hard parchment binding, manuscript title on the spine. § Two other volumes together in the lot: Decimus Junius Juvenal; Lagrange, Isaac. Isaaci Grangaei gymnasiarchae Vindocinensis Commentarii, in Decii Iunii Iuuenalis Aquinatis satyras sexdecim. Paris, apud Robertum Fouet, 1614. In 4°. Copy with uniform browning, contemporary parchment binding, minor defects; Aulus Gellius. Noctes Atticae. Leida, Petri Leffen, 1666. Frontispiece (detached and with some marginal losses), mark on the title page, slight foxing, contemporary binding in full hard parchment, blind stamp on the cover, handwritten title on the spine.
