Information
Rome, in the print shop of Giorgio Placco, engraver, 1711. In 4°. Double title page in Latin and Italian and copper engraving on the frontispiece of an allegory with a winged figure playing the trumpet, a military coat of arms, and a title within a cartouche. Owner's stamp on the title page. Numerous full-page engraved plates with the title, double-column text, and dual Italian/Latin text. Later red leather binding, boards framed in gilt, title stamped in gilt on the four-ribbed spine. Minor defects. Bookplate on the inside cover: "James Lorimer Graham."
