Specialist Notes

The Fiat 500 L is one of the numerous evolutions of the small (Nuova) 500 launched by Fiat in 1957. The L version was born in 1968 to make it more refined in terms of equipment and finishes. In the 500 L, the notable modifications were the so-called "ercolino" reinforced bumpers and some improvements in the passenger compartment, including the standard reclining seats and a new dashboard with the fuel level indicator. The Fiat 500 offered at auction has a matching numbers chassis and engine, the bodywork, preserved in its Coral Red color (102), is in fair condition but needs some repairs due to signs of rust. The mechanics work with the need for control. It is fitted with 500 F type bumpers and has many aftermarket accessories: Fergat widened channel sports rims, double rear-view mirror, bonnet lock, three-spoke sports steering wheel, stereo system, carpet overlay.
