Bound with La biografia ecclesiastica , same typographical data, title page with device, light stains and reddening, contemporary brown calf binding, 5 raised bands on the spine with gold decorations and title in the compartments, red edges, some scratches. Handwritten annotations on the first flyleaf. § Eugene Briffault , Le Secret de Rome au XIXe siecle, Paris, Boizard , 1846. In 4°. Illustrated title page, black and white illustrations in the text and on full page, contemporary brown half leather binding, peeling.
