Specialist Notes
Guido Corni, explorer, naturalist, and cartographer, served as governor of Italian Somaliland from the summer of 1928 to the summer of 1931. The first volume, the result of the collaboration of several scholars, examines the natural landscape, ethnic group, and history of Somalia, from ancient trade connections to twentieth-century discoveries. The second volume focuses on the work carried out in Somali territory. Copy no. 2108.
